REPAIR SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Initial Diagnosis

  • The diagnosis is performed on-site, where the hot tub is located.

  • The service includes a complete inspection for up to 1 hour and has a cost of $140 CAD, which must be paid at least 24 hours in advance to confirm the technician’s visit.

  • If the client chooses not to proceed with the repair, only the diagnosis and travel costs will be charged.

  • If the diagnosis requires additional time, there will be an extra charge of $110 CAD per additional hour.

2. Hot Tub Access

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure clear and adequate access to the work area where the hot tub is located.

3. Work Authorization

  • No work will be performed without prior authorization from the client.

  • By accepting the quote and signing the corresponding form, the client authorizes A&S HydroFix to proceed with the repair.

​

4. Parts and Replacements

  • Replacement parts may be new or refurbished, depending on availability and with the client’s approval.

  • If parts need to be ordered in advance, a deposit will be required.

​

5. Repair Time

  • The estimated repair time will be communicated to the client and may vary depending on parts availability and the equipment’s condition.

  • If the repair can be completed during the visit, the total cost will be provided to the client for approval before proceeding.

6. Service Warranty

  • All repairs performed by A&S HydroFix include a 6-month warranty, covering both labor and replacement parts.

  • The warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse or third-party damage.

  • Issues not directly related to the diagnosed and repaired problem.

7. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due upon completion of the repair, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept credit card and e-transfer payments.

  • The initial diagnosis fee will be deducted from the total if the client decides to proceed with the repair.

8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Clients must notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Otherwise, a travel fee may apply.

9. Service Scope and Liability

  We are not responsible for:

  • Hidden structural damage.

  • General electrical system failures.

  • Issues not related to the diagnosed and authorized repair.

​

10. Service Area and Travel Fee

No additional travel fee for appointments within:

  • Vancouver

  • Burnaby

  • North Vancouver

  • West Vancouver

  • Port Moody

  • New Westminster

For locations outside these areas, please refer to our travel zone map for additional travel fees.
